I absolutely love the Global Series, especially this year when Dallas went to Finland. One alternative would be to have it kick off the season similar to college football’s big neutral site matchups in week one or MLB’s opening series kicking off the season a week before everyone else plays their first series. It isn’t a few weeks into the season, but the games still matter by being in the regular season.
