Texas Rangers start Corey Seager was ranked as the second-best shortstop in the major leagues by MLB Network, which is actually down a spot from last year. There’s no doubt that he’s the Rangers’ best player, but he has company in the debate of who the best shortstop in baseball is. Bobby Witt Jr., Francisco Lindor and Gunnar Henderson all have a case. Seager is not among the Rangers players who chose to work out in the DFW Metroplex this offseason, and those who did enjoyed some benefits. Jonah Heim is one who lives locally, and he has nothing but good things to say about Kyle Higashioka.
