John Rhadigan and I gladly moved out of the way Thursday for Jim Cochrane, the Texas Rangers’ executive vice president and chief business officer, to answer questions about the team’s new TV deal. First, he answered questions from John and me, including Elvis Andrus’ addition to the broadcast team, before fielding questions from the chat room. He answered as many as he could, though he didn’t give details about current negotiations and how much money the Rangers are bringing in. They’re happy, though, and Cochrane said that if your provider wasn’t announced Tuesday night, just have some patience as more providers will be added before Opening Day. This is a must-watch episode for anyone who has questions about the state of Rangers TV broadcasts for 2025.
