DLLS Texas Rangers Podcast: Pitching depth getting tested after Cody Bradford is shut down

Texas Rangers Jacob deGrom Jack Leiter

The Texas Rangers won’t have left-hander Cody Bradford in their rotation to start the 2025 season. Instead, they will have him on the injured list because of elbow soreness. He doesn’t have any structural damage, but the Rangers are erring on the side of caution with their treatment plan for him. His absence for the season-opener, March 27 vs. the Red Sox, will create an opening in the rotation that could go to Jack Leiter, Kumar Rocker or Dane Dunning. Leiter and Dunning were front-runners for bullpen spots. Also, as always, there’s some Jacob deGrom talk.
