Trailing 1-0 late in the second period, the Dallas Stars roared back with five goals in the final 21 minutes of the game to beat the Nashville Predators 5-1 on Thursday night at American Airlines Center. It was their 50th win of the season, coming in Game 75, extending their current winning streak to seven and their current point streak to 10 (8-0-2). Wyatt Johnston extended his goal-scoring streak to six games, while Matt Duchene, Mikael Granlund and Mason Marchment all extended their point streaks to four games. Steven Stamkos opened the scoring for Nashville early in the second period, but Granlund, Marchment, Roope Hintz, Johnston and Lian Bichsel all scored for Dallas. Mikko Rantanen had two assists in the game, including his 700th career NHL point on Bichsel’s third period goal.
