The Texas Rangers hadn’t placed Wyatt Langford on the injured list at the start of this episode of the DLLS Rangers Podcast, but the news broke shortly into the show. It’s the smart move, John Rhadigan and I agreed, and it followed the Rangers’ trend of erring on the side of caution. Dustin Harris and Ezequiel Duran were added to the roster, and Harris will get some time in the outfield while Langford is down. Jonathan Ornelas was optioned to Triple A Round Rock. The Rangers would need a good start from Tyler Mahle to avoid a three-game sweep. He rebounded nicely in his last start from a tough go in his 2025 debut.
