The Texas Rangers scored 12 runs in their final two games at Wrigley Field. Unfortunately for them, they won only one game, but it appears as if the offense might finally be starting to wake up. Several balls were hit hard, two of them Wednesday by Corey Seager in his two-homer game. And the offense that was expected to be among the best in baseball is trending the right way as it enters a three-game weekend series at Seattle. The guy on the mound Wednesday, Tyler Mahle, was very good over seven innings, and fans should feel good about Jacob deGrom, Kumar Rocker and Nathan Eovaldi pitching this weekend against the Mariners.
