This was a great breakdown! After the way the season ended, I was super nervous about the defense, and I think they really rose to it. Loved seeing your notes on all the specifics and done by pairing! I feel like the Bichsel/Petro combo was great in that it seemed to sort of ground Bichsel, maybe? He hasn’t lacked for confidence since he came up, but it felt like his PLAY was more grounded and steady with Petro–my guess because they are more used to each other. How many different guys has Bish played with since he came up? I think that helped him and Petro did better than when he got called up in the regular season if my memory serves.
