Corey Seager helped give the Texas Rangers a second life Sunday in the 10th inning, hitting a two-run homer, and they were in prime position in the 11th inning for a second straight walk-off win. Instead, Josh Jung and Kyle Higashioka came up empty, and the Mariners won the series finale 6-4. The Rangers lost twice in 12 innings in the three-game series, and situational hitting was an issue. Jung, in particular, had a tough go Sunday despite driving in the game’s first run. He had some fielding mistakes at third base, including one in the 12th. The Rangers are back at it Monday, facing the Orioles a week after traveling to Baltimore for a three-game series.
