DLLS Stars Podcast: Capitals Radio PxP Announcer John Walton Talks Ovechkin, Stars & More

Today we begin our summer series “The Other 31” where each day we will highlight one of the other 31 NHL teams by bringing in guests who cover each organization on a regular basis, whether as a beat writer, team broadcaster or another member of that city’s local media. We kick off the series by welcoming to the show John Walton, the radio play-by-play broadcaster for the Washington Capitals. We will talk all things Capitals, including Alex Ovechkin’s historic pursuit and capture of Wayne Gretzky’s NHL all-time career goals record. We’ll also get John’s take on the Dallas Stars, a good outside perspective from someone who only sees the Stars for two games each regular season.
