Thad Levine was a Texas Rangers assistant general manager under Jon Daniels and was part of the World Series teams in 2010 and 2011. He then went to the Twins to be their general manager, a job he held until giving it up after last season. Now, he’s podcasting as the co-host of Rosters to Rings, in which he tries to go behind the scenes to discuss what fans don’t see in building a roster and trying to win a championship. Levine has kept his eye on the Rangers and believes they have a chance to earn a playoff berth this season. He wants to get back in the business after feeling the burn again during the lead-up to the MLB Draft and trade deadline. Until then, catch him on his podcast. As for the Rangers, they open a three-game series Friday against the Mets with Jacob deGrom on the mound and Jake Burger in the middle of the lineup.
