DLLS Texas Rangers Podcast: Bruce Bochy bagged ultimate achievement during 3-year reign

The 20th manager in Texas Rangers history was Bruce Bochy, and none of the previous 19 did what he managed to do in his first season in 2023 — win the World Series. It was the fourth of his career, and he is sixth in MLB history in managerial victories. If he still wants to manage, which he indicated late in the season that he did, other clubs would be wise to at least call him. The Rangers appear to be zeroed in on Skip Schumaker, but what if he doesn’t take the job? If the Rangers have a list of external options, we have some thoughts on who might be on it. Whoever becomes the manager, might be interested in the Rangers’ financials for 2026.
