DLLS Texas Rangers Podcast: How fast will Chirs Young move to replace Bruce Bochy?

The first time Texas Rangers president of baseball operations was charged with hiring a new manager, he selected Bruce Bochy only two weeks into the 2022 offseason. He has moved fast in the past on free agents, most recently catcher Kyle Higashioka a year ago. Also, keep in mind that other teams have managerial openings and might have interest in the Rangers’ top target, Skip Schumaker. How soon could Young act? Hopefully, very soon. Assistant coaches need to know soon if they will be back, so the sooner Bochy’s replacement is hired, the better. The Rangers also have some other work to get to this offseason, like figuring out how they are going to reshape their roster and how much money they will have to do so.
