Everyone knows the culprit for the Texas Rangers‘ failures in 2025: the offense. The Rangers didn’t hit enough for a second straight season, and changes are coming in 2026. The first change involves philosophy, and new manager Skip Schumaker said that he wants the lineup to do whatever the game asks of them each day. Situational hitting will be emphasized along with aggression on the bases. It worked for the Rangers 15 years ago under Ron Washington. The personnel will change, too. Who will be in the lineup?
