The Dallas Stars are currently riding a six-game point streak (3-0-3), which began on October 23. They have collected nine points during that span, which is tied for the second-most in the NHL. However, the team’s offensive numbers, particularly at even strength (5-on-5) rank near the bottom of the NHL during this point streak (especially affected by injuries to Matt Duchene, Roope Hintz and, of course, captain Jaime Benn). Lately, Dallas have been relying heavily on excellent goaltending from Jake Oettinger and Casey DeSmith, a lethal power play that ranks 3rd in the NHL and a very stingy defensive structure. On today’s show, we’ll look back at the Stars’ three games last week (vs. WSH, at TBL, at FLA), hand out our 3 Dallas Stars of the Week and look ahead at the team’s four-game schedule (vs. EDM, vs. ANA, at NSH, vs. SEA). Plus, what does Wyatt Johnston have to do the make the Hockey Canada men’s roster for the 2026 Winter Olympics?
