Jason Robertson broke a 1-1 tie with his team-leading 27th goal of the season with 3:46 left in regulation as the Dallas Stars beat the Los Angeles Kings 3-1 on Monday night at Crypto.com Arena. Wyatt Johnston scored the only goal of the first two periods a mere 3:44 into the first frame, but Quinton Byfield tied with a power play goal midway through the third period. Just when it looked like this was headed to overtime, Robertson threw a soft backhander from the high slot and eluded a crowd in front and beat a screened Darcy Kuemper. Matt Duchene added an empty net goal to cap off the scoring and give Dallas just its second victory in the last nine games.
