The Dallas Stars scored first, but then gave up four-unanswered goals as they lost 4-1 to the Tampa Bay Lightning on Sunday afternoon at American Airlines Center. It’s the third consecutive regulation loss for Dallas, just the second time this season that has occurred, and in all three games they only managed to score one goal. Oskar Bäck opened the scoring early in the first period for Dallas, but Dominic James tied it up four minutes later. The Lightning received second period goals from Brandon Hagel and Jake Guentzel and then an empty net goal from Pontus Holmberg to record their 12th win in the last 13 games (12-0-1).
