The Dallas Stars recorded their 50th win of the 2025-26 regular season as they beat the Buffalo Sabres 4-3 in a shootout on Wednesday night at KeyBank Center. Mavrik Bourque opened the scoring with his 20th goal of the season. Trailing 2-1 in the second period, Esa Lindell scored a power-play goal. After the Sabres answered for a 3-2 lead, Justin Hrykowian tied the game at 3-3. Neither team scored in the third period or overtime. Jason Robertson, Matt Duchene and Wyatt Johnston all scored in the shootout to give Dallas the victory.
