The Texas Rangers completed their first 40 games of the season Sunday, a stretch that was one of the most difficult in the major leagues. They survived, thanks to contributions from, among others, Ezequiel Duran.
The Texas Rangers completed a trying 40-game stretch to open the 2026 season with a 19-21 record. They finished it on a high note, a 3-0 victory over the Cubs behind a brilliant outing by Jacob deGrom. The Rangers won the three-game series, taking the finale two games over one of the best teams in baseball. Justin Fosucue and Ezequiel Duran assisted during the series. The schedule gets easier, though not easy. First up is Arizona in a rematch of the 2023 World Series, followed by a trip to Houston.
