DLLS Texas Rangers Podcast: Will slow start lead to selloff at MLB trade deadline?

Texas Rangers trade deadline

The Texas Rangers rebounded from getting no-hit Monday night with an eight-run first inning Tuesday en route to a 10-7 victory over the Astros. Joc Pederson hit a three-run homer to cap the big opening inning, but many fans believe the Rangers should stop kidding themselves about their playoff hopes in 2026. They want the Rangers to sell at the annual MLB trade deadline to save money (Corey Seager, Jacob deGrom, Nathan Eovaldi) and rebuild the farm system. There is also a case to not sell, including the fact that the American League West is bad and the Rangers aren’t all that far out of first place.
