DLLS Stars Podcast: Rumors Are Once Again Swirling About Dallas Stars RFA Sniper Jason Robertson

Well, it’s that time of year again. Last summer, Jason Robertson trade rumors swirled around the NHL landscape, even though he had one more year left on his current contract, ending in RFA status. One year later, Robertson just scored 45 goals and 96 points and was one of the more consistent Stars performers in the playoffs against the Minnesota Wild. The Stars want to re-sign Robo long term and the belief is the Robertson camp wants the same thing. However, the big sticking point is the salary cap crunch the Stars are facing. So, while those negotiations continue, we get more Robo Rumors swirling. On today’s show, we will discuss and, where necessary, debunk some of the latest chatter. Then we talk about the bombshell report from Elliotte Friedman that Detroit Red Wings captain Dylan Larkin has requested a trade and we try to figure out a hypothetical trade that would get Larkin to Dallas.
