DLLS Stars Podcast: Stars Qualify Robertson, Bourque & Hyry As Talks Continue On Eve Of Free Agency

On Monday the Dallas Stars issued qualifying offers to restricted free agents Jason Robertson, Mavrik Bourque and Arttu Hyry. They also chose not to extend qualifying offers to eight players, most of whom played for the Texas Stars, their AHL affiliate. NHL Free Agency starts tomorrow (Wednesday, July 1st), so today’s show is all about previewing that. We will look at what the next steps are for the team’s RFAs, the unqualified players who will become unrestricted free agents tomorrow and the team’s UFAs who head into July 1st with uncertainty in their status with Dallas. We will also take a glance at the free agent pool for the entire league.
