Cowboys make first wave of roster cuts ahead of 53-Man deadline

With the NFL’s 53-man roster deadline looming on Tuesday, the Dallas Cowboys have begun their first round of cuts as they work toward finalizing their team for the 2025 season.

The Cowboys did open roster cutdown weekend with a major headline, activating All-Pro cornerback Trevon Diggs from the PUP list. Diggs, who began camp sidelined while rehabbing last year’s season-ending knee injury, is now cleared to start the season on the active roster but his Week 1 status remains unclear.
