The Dallas Cowboys have agreed to terms on a four-year contract extension with veteran cornerback DaRon Bland.
The deal is worth $92 million with $50 million guaranteed.
The move to extend Bland comes just days after the Cowboys traded star defensive end Micah Parsons to the Green Bay Packers, a move that freed up $19 million in cap and placed Dallas at $42 million in cap space just ahead of the 2025 season.
Bland, 26, was drafted by the Cowboys in the fifth-round, pick No. 167 in the 2022 NFL draft. Across his first three seasons, Bland emerged as one of Dallas’ top defenders logging 164 tackles, 14 interceptions, and 27 pass deflections. Following the 2023 season, the former Fresno State Bulldog was named a first-team All-Pro and a Pro Bowler after recording a league leading nine interceptions and a record setting five pick sixes in 2023.
