It has gone from Super Bowl or bust to Super Bowl now for the Dallas Cowboys heading into the 2026 training camp.

Quarterback Dak Prescott spoke about his Super Bowl or bust mentality a couple of weeks ago.

He took it a step further with a visual reminder on Monday as he got off the bus and checked into training camp wearing a Super Bowl t shirt from the Cowboys last title team following the 1995 season.

Will the Cowboys end the now 31-year drought in 2026?

Time will tell.

But that is focus of the team heading into season

Prescott has embraced it and so has his teammates

Left guard Tyler Smith echoed Prescott when speaking to the media.

“I mean, the ultimate goal is the Super Bowl,” Smith said. “Everything I’ve done my whole career, this offseason, ultimately this training camp will be winning the championship. That’s a huge thing. For us, it’s legacy. If you hoist up that trophy, you live forever. That’s all I think about, and everyone is focused on that goal.”

Like Prescott, Smith believes the Cowboys are better equipped in 2026 to reach their Super Bowl dreams because of all the changes made in the offseason.

The Cowboys have a new defensive coordinator in Christian Parker and will open the season with at least 9 new starters from Week 1 of a year ago.

“I think it’s extremely realistic. You put in the work and attack it, you can be champions.”

Prescott has embraced it.

“I know. That’s the one thing I truly love about the Cowboys organization and the fanbase is it’s that or nothing.

“That’s what being a competitor is, if that’s not how you’re wired, if that’s not how you think, whether you’re a fan, whether you’re a player, whether you’re a coach, then I think you’re in the wrong business, and, honestly, I don’t want you on my team. I love those expectations.”
