Today we take advantage of the NHL’s two-week break for the 4 Nations Face-Off to welcome to our studio – Dallas Stars assistant general manager Mark Janko. Owen Newkirk, Craig Ludwig and Sam Nestler will talk with Mark about how he got his start in hockey back in the 1998-99 season as a media relations intern with the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim (now the Anaheim Ducks), moving to Dallas, making the transition from public relations to hockey operations and ascending to Jim Nill’s right hand man. The guys will also discuss Mark’s extensive knowledge of the NHL salary cap, player transactions of past and present, the upcoming trade deadline and much more.
