STARS POSTGAME: Dallas Stars Beat Seattle Kraken 3-1, Sweep Four Game Road Trip

Casey DeSmith continued his brilliant run of form, stopping 36-of-37 shots to extend his personal point streak to nine games (8-0-1) as the Dallas Stars beat the Seattle Kraken 3-1 on Monday night at Climate Pledge Arena, sweeping the three-game season series. After conceding a goal to Kaapo Kakko on the game’s first scoring chance, DeSmith was perfect the rest of the way, making 35 consecutive saves to record his 14th win of the year, in 23 appearances. Matt Duchen and Wyatt Johnston scored goals 45 seconds apart to flip the scoreline. It was Johnston’s fifth-straight game with a goal, which turned out to be the game-winner. Mikael Granlund added a late empty net goal to round out the scoring. The Stars went a perfect 4-0-0 on this road trip, beating Edmonton, Calgary and then Seattle twice. Join the DLLS Stars post game show with Craig Ludwig, Owen Newkirk & John Andersen as they recap all the highlights of the Stars’ 49th victory of the 2024-25 season.
