Dallas Stars general manager Jim Nill fired Pete DeBoer last summer after three-straight trips to the Western Conference Final, replacing him with Glen Gulutzan. So far this season, Gulutzan has led the Stars to the second-best record in the National Hockey League through 37 games (around 45 percent of the schedule).
