Dallas Stars general manager Jim Nill fired Pete DeBoer last summer after three-straight trips to the Western Conference Final, replacing him with Glen Gulutzan. So far this season, Gulutzan has led the Stars to the second-best record in the National Hockey League through 37 games (around 45 percent of the schedule). However, Gulutzan and the Stars will not ultimately be judged on regular season success, but rather if they can get over the hump in the Stanley Cup Playoffs. On today’s show, we examine how much different Gulutzan’s coaching philosophy is from DeBoer and why that could pay serious dividends in the playoffs. Plus, we will project which Dallas Stars players will end up on international rosters for the 2026 Winter Olympic hockey tournament, present our 3 Stars of the Week and much more.
