The Texas Rangers have only one All-Star this year, and, deservedly, it’s Jacob deGrom. He has been one of the best pitchers in baseball, and the Rangers will start him Monday to open a four-game series against the Angels in a key series in the American League West. The right-hander will also be available over the weekend in Houston, where the Rangers close out the first half against their main rival. Nathan Eovaldi could also pitch twice. He’s not an All-Star but probably should have been based on some impressive numbers. The Rangers, though, need their offense to start firing again.
