Jonathan Kuminga wasn’t one of the first players off the Golden State Warriors’ bench, but his impact was immediately felt.
Kuminga scored six points on two and-1s in his first two minutes of action. He finished the first half with 10 points in nine minutes before appearing to injure his left knee while being fouled on a fast break.
Kuminga did not return due to the left knee injury, cutting his showcase performance short.
But, Mavericks wing Naji Marshall had 30 points, nine assists and seven rebounds to push the Mavs past the Warriors on Thursday night.
Kuminga finished with a game-high plus-19. There has been reported limited interest around the NBA for Kuminga, but with the NBA’s trade deadline two weeks away, talks could begin to heat up.
