The Texas Rangers lost another winnable game Monday night, 4-3 at Kansas City, and they fell further behind in the wild-card race. With the remaining games shrinking and the losses mounting, especially on the road, the shape of the 2026 Rangers team is becoming more of a topic of conversation. Josh Jung is under the microscope after sitting out a second straight game in favor of rookie Cody Freeman. Adolis Garcia and Jonah Heim might not be back next season, and Jung could join them. Jack Leiter, who struggled some Monday, will be in the rotation next season and should be better. But change is coming after two subpar offensive seasons.
