The Tuesday edition of the DLLS Texas Rangers Podcast was delayed because of some serious travel woes, but there was a silver lining: covering the breaking news that the Rangers signed left-hander Patrick Corbin for the starting rotation. The signing was met with some groans, based on his statistics the past five seasons, but he’s been durable and the Rangers need help after injuries to Cody Bradford and Jon Gray. The signing will also cause some dominoes to fall in the bullpen, which still doesn’t have a closer. Another position that remains unsettled in the final week of spring training is center field, where Evan Carter, Leody Taveras and Kevin Pillar could all be on the roster.
