The Texas Rangers have reached the final week of the regular season and hold a one-game lead in the American League West over the Astros. The goal is simple: Win as many games as possible, but at minimum win each of the remaining two series. The first series begins Tuesday at home against the Mets, who will throw a familiar foe, Sean Manaea, against MacKenzie Gore. Gore rates as arguably the most important player of the week for the Rangers.
