While spring training is always about getting pitchers ready, each Texas Rangers camp includes the next wave of minor-leaguers who could help the big-league club very soon. One of them for the Rangers this year is shortstop Sebastian Walcott, one of the game’s top prospects, and he joined the DLLS Rangers Podcast on Thursday. Walcott talked about his what his first week in his first big-league camp has been like, who he’s learning from and what his expectations are for spring training. He’s only a few lockers away from Josh Jung, who wants to be the life of the party this season. The most important thing, though, is that the third baseman is healthy as spring games get underway.
