None of what you’re reporting is inspiring hope. This offense won’t change, unless there is a change in philosophy. These hitters seem to only have one objective with every plate appearance: park the ball in the seats. That is leading to over swinging, increasing deep flyouts at the track, pop-ups, and strikeouts. The fact that Young, Bochy, & Boone don’t see that tells me everything you need to know about the management of this team. It’s the old baseball adage: “get them on, get them over, get them in”. This team is doing none of that.
