Rangers Today’s coverage of the 2023 world champs expands with even more support and a great team at an exciting new digital sports network.

DALLAS — For a guy who doesn’t like change, this one has me pretty fired up. The main reason is not much is going to change.

The big change is that I’m now part of DLLS, the new all-digital sports network, after the past three years at Rangers Today. My job will still be all Texas Rangers, all the time (though I am helping out on TCU coverage). That should sound familiar to those who know me.

For those of you who don’t know, I’m Jeff Wilson, and I’ve covered the Rangers the past 17 seasons with some TCU sprinkled in throughout my career. Most recently, I’ve been on my own at Rangers Today, launched in 2021 to continue cranking out daily coverage of Tarrant County’s team.

I have no problem with Dallas County. I pay taxes in both and will be splitting my days between the DLLS studio in the West End and Globe Life Field and various fields and arenas at TCU.

Another change? I’m part of a team again. Joining me on the Rangers beat are veteran broadcaster John Rhadigan and Abby Jones, who came to DFW three years ago. We’re going to do five hourlong Rangers podcasts a week, including in the offseason, in addition to a similar volume of writing as what I was doing at Rangers Today.
