Goaltender Casey DeSmith pitched a gem tonight, stopping 46-of-48 shots faced, as he lead the Dallas Stars to a 5-2 win over the Calgary Flames on Thursday night at Scotiabank Saddledome. The Stars, who never trailed in the contest, received goals from five different players: Roope Hintz, Wyatt Johnston, Mikael Granlund, Mikko Rantanen and Matt Duchene. Dallas saw five different skaters record multi-point games: Hintz, Duchene, Rantanen, Jason Robertson and Mason Marchment. Nazem Kadri scored both goals for the Flames, who saw their four-game winning streak snapped. Join the DLLS Stars post game show with Craig Ludwig, Owen Newkirk & John Andersen as they dissect Dallas’ 47th victory of the season.
