STARS POSTGAME: Casey DeSmith performance not enough, Lightning edge Stars 3-2 in shootout

Goalie Casey DeSmith turned in a dazzling performance on Thursday night, stopping 36-of-38 shots faced, but it was not enough as the Tampa Bay Lightning beat the Dallas Stars 3-2 in a shootout at the AAC. Three streaks were snapped tonight: Dallas’ eight-game home winning streak, Wyatt Johnston’s 15-game home point streak and DeSmith’s personal six-game winning streak.
