Jake Oettinger stopped all 33 shots that he faced, recording his 12th career regular season NHL shutout, his second this year, as the Dallas Stars beat the Minnesota Wild 3-0 on Monday night at American Airlines Center. After a goalless first period, Oettinger made a dazzling glove save to deny Marco Rossi on a 2-on-1 rush early in the second period and then later on he made a double save on Frederick Gaudreau and Mats Zuccarello to keep the game knotted at 0-0. That led to two Stars goals in a 58 second span, a power play goal from Wyatt Johnston and an even strength tally by Matt Duchene. Mason Marchment added an empty net goal in the third and Oettinger did the rest, earning his 33rd victory of the year.
