Miro Heiskanen was the hero of the day, as he scored the game winning goal in overtime as the Dallas Stars beat the Chicago Blackhawks 4-3 on Sunday at American Airlines Center. The Stars had rallied from a 2-0 deficit, then blew a 3-2 lead, but got the win to extend their current point streak to 12 games (11-0-1). Tyler Bertuzzi and Sam Rinzel put Chicago ahead 2-0 less than 9 minutes into the game. Nathan Bastian put Dallas on the board late in the first period with his sixth goal of the season, his third in the last five games. Mavrik Bourque and Justin Hryckowian each found the net in the third period to give the Stars a 3-2 lead, only for Connor Bedard to score a 6-on-5 extra attacker goal to force overtime. 3-on-3 hockey lasted a mere 22 seconds before Heiskanen redirected a Matt Duchene pass on the rush past goalie Arvid Söderblom to give the Stars their 11th win in their last 12 games.
