STARS POSTGAME: Robertson Hat Trick Leads Stars to Victory Over Islanders

Jason Robertson tallied his fourth career NHL hat trick to lead the Dallas Stars to a 4-3 win over the New York Islanders on Sunday night at UBS Arena in Elmont, New York. The Stars lost defenseman Lian Bichsel to an upper body injury after he was on the receiving end of an illegal check to the head by Islanders forward Casey Cizikas – who received a match penalty for the collision. Sam Steel scored Dallas’ other goal, snapping a 24-game goal drought. Pierre Engvall, Kyle Palmieri and Anthony Duclair were the goal scorers for New York, while Stars center Matt Duchene notched two assists to extend his point streak to four games (5 goals, 5 assists).
