Playing in their first back-to-back of the 2025-26 season, the Dallas Stars traveled to Nashville and beat the Predators 3-2 on Sunday night at Bridgestone Arena. It was nearly identical to the way they beat the Carolina Hurricanes in Dallas on Saturday night; fall behind 2-0 early, rally back with three unanswered goals to take a 3-2 lead and then bunker down to secure the victory. Oskar Bäck scored a goal in his season debut, returning from injury, while Wyatt Johnston scored the tying goal and Mikko Rantanen notched the game-winner on a third period power play. Casey DeSmith made 23 saves on 25 shots to record his first victory of the year and Jason Robertson led all skaters with a two assist performance.
