The Dallas Stars easily overcame an early 1-0 deficit by scoring six-unanswered goals en route to their ninth consecutive victory, setting a new franchise record, as they dismantled the Vancouver Canucks 6-1 Monday night at Rogers Arena. Lian Bichsel scored twice for his first career multi-goal game, while Colin Blackwell, Matt Duchene, Jason Robertson, Sam Steel and Miro Heiskanen all had two point nights. The Stars broke the previous franchise record eight-game winning streak that was set during the 2023-24 season. Vancouver’s lone goal came from Evander Kane at 7:57 of the first period, but that lead lasted less than 10 minutes before Adam Erne tied it up. The Stars out-scored the Canucks 5-0 and out-shot them 31-7 over the final 40 minutes.
