The Dallas Stars returned from their three week Olympic break and earned their seventh straight victory, rolling over the Seattle Kraken 4-1 tonight at American Airlines Center. The Stars earned a three-game season series sweep over the Kraken and now own an all-time regular season record of 13-1-1 against Seattle. Wyatt Johnston scored two more goals, including his NHL-leading 19th power play goal, which is a new Dallas Stars single-season record. Matt Duchene had a goal and an assist, extending his point streak to seven games (6 goals, 4 assists). Thomas Harley returned to Dallas with an Olympic silver medal and tallied two assists in the game, extending his point streak to four games. Sam Steel scored the other goal the Stars, while Ryker Evans had the lone Seattle goal, spoiling Casey DeSmith’s shutout bid.
