The Dallas Stars scored two goals in the final four minutes of regulation to make it interesting, but ultimately fell short in a 4-3 loss to the Chicago Blackhawks on Thursday night at United Center. Artyom Levshunov and Mikko Rantanen traded first period goals, but it was a one-sided second period that led to Chicago’s victory. Teuvo Teräväinen scored a power play goal and Ilya Mikheyev potted the first of his two goals on the night as the Blackhawks opened up a 3-1 lead after 40 minutes. Mikheyev made it 4-1 early in the third period and extra-attacker goals from Jason Robertson and Matt Duchene proved to only make the final score look closer.
