Dallas Stars defenseman Thomas Harley scored twice, including the game-winning goal just nine seconds into 3-on-3 overtime, as Dallas held off the Philadelphia Flyers 3-2 on Saturday afternoon at American Airlines Center. The Stars jumped out to a quick 2-0 lead on each of their first two shots on goal, as Harley and fellow defenseman Esa Lindell each found the back of the net on Flyers starting goalie Ivan Fedotov. Philadelphia changed goalies for the start of the second period and scored the next two goals, as Travis Konecny and Ryan Poehling level the game at 2-2. After a deadlocked third period, Harley deposited the first shot of overtime past relief goaltender Samuel Ersson to send the AAC crowd home happy. Dallas has now gone beyond regulation in four straight games, going 2-0-2 in those contests.
