My concern is that this cropped up towards the end of the regular season last year and continued into the playoffs. It’s the same problems again and staff says they need 10 games to check it out? Alarming to say the least.

I don’t mind the entries so much. Like you mentioned, it’s *generally* successful at getting them into the zone.

From there though, everyone on the ice looks like they’re more concerned with running set plays than just playing hockey. There’s no fluidity. There’s no improvisation. It’s Heiskanen sliding across the top, looking for the Robertson high curl, or a high-tip in the bumper position. They need to start incorporating more of the goal-line touch pass to the bumper. Or half wall passes to one timers. Something to make other teams think “I should put my stick here, instead of there.”
