Hey, Dallas Stars fans. What’s up?
Any plans next week? Maybe heading up to Frisco to watch some Dallas Stars hockey for real!!??
Yes, that’s right. Today, September 10, marks exactly one week until the Stars hit the ice to begin training camp for the 2026-27 NHL season. Just one week.
The roster is mostly set already, including a couple of depth pieces who will probably have to begin the year in the AHL until Dallas can figure out its salary cap overage.
But that doesn’t mean there isn’t plenty to watch for at camp.
And, this year, training camp is going to go by in the blink of an eye. With only two on-ice sessions before playing somebody else and just four preseason games overall, we will be dropping the puck on the start of an 84-game season before we know it.
That means it is almost time.
Almost time to see Mikko Rantanen score highlight-reel goals while also drawing and taking more penalties than anyone in the league.
