The NHL’s 4 Nations Face-Off tournament kicked off on Wednesday night with a highly entertaining match up between Canada and Sweden. The Canadians earned a dramatic 4-3 OT victory, thanks to Sidney Crosby’s 3-assist performance, including one on Mitch Marner’s game-winning goal during the 3-on-3 extra session.

Today, Sean Shapiro, Owen Newkirk & Sam Nestler will discuss all things 4 Nations, including the opening game last night and previewing tonight’s USA-Finland game, which features four current Dallas Stars (Jake Oettinger, Esa Lindell, Roope Hintz, Mikael Granlund). Sean will put his opinions center stage on the various goalie pad setups of the participants in the 4 Nations and the guys will discuss the news of the NHL brining back the World Cup of Hockey in 2028 – the fourth iterations of that competition.
