Nathan Eovaldi threw 170 2/3 innings in 2024 for the Texas Rangers, so they should be able to count on him to be a workhorse. After that, though, things get a little hairy on the innings front, and a six-man rotation will be a storyline in spring training. Jacob deGrom, Kumar Rocker, Tyler Mahle and Cody Bradford are all coming off of injuries. So is Jon Gray, though at least he topped 100 innings last season. It’s going to get tricky for pitching coach Mike Maddux, especially if the Rangers are able to sign Roki Sasaki.
